2019-20 Varsity Season Overview

The 2019-20 Varsity Scouts were heavily loaded with 18 seniors and could hold their own against any High School team in Illinois.  Varsity finished the IHSHL North Central Division regular season in second place and a 13th overall ranking in the state.  

Varsity had some notable games this season; playing Barrington (9th ranked in the state) to two one goal games and then beating St. Viator (3rd ranked in the state) at the Winter Club of LF in the annual Winter Classic event. 

Varsity had four All-Star Selections in the IHSHL, Hunter Dee, Charlie Altounian, Michael Manfred, and Alex Huddlestun.  

Charlie Altounian was also selected to the AHAI All-State team.  A LFHS player has been selected two years consecutively, Charlie Altounian in 2019-20 and Griffin Slobodnik in 2018-19.
