All four teams that made it to 2023 Pitch Night included at least one, if not two, Scouts Hockey player entrepreneur. All four teams moved on to Business Accelerator H in 2024 and have successfully launched and now own and manage their own businesses.
SOLUABLE
Scouts Hockey players, Teddy Huddlestun and Ky Camardo, were part of the Soluable team who were Pitch Night champions! Their company is developing environmentally-friendly and innovative dissolving plastic waste.
JR. SCOUTS SPORTS CAMP
Scouts Hockey players, Murphy Moorhead, Charlie Savage & Team Manager, Rocco Marsico, launched and now own and operate Jr Scouts Sports Camp, a sports camp coached by Varsity athletes as a feeder program to LFHS sports.
MY HOMEWORK HAVEN
Scouts Hockey player, Will Goodsir, was part of the team who won Best Pitch at 2023 Pitch Night and now runs My Homework Haven, an app that helps organize student assignments to help them stay organized and succeed in school.
UV PC
Scouts Hockey player, Chris Fallidas, is part of the UV PC team that is creating a special sanitizing device to be used in restrooms for phone cleaning/storing.
THE GEAR TREE
Scouts Hockey players, Andrew Marsch and Andrew Sommers, are part of the Gear Tree team who are developing a sports equipment holder to help reduce odor, bacteria, and moisture out of sports.
